Retinol has to be one of the best anti-aging ingredients.
It is the derivative of Vitamin A.
It is the gold standard ingredient in skin care as it helps skin cells to be more youthful, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, smoothen the skin texture and gives the radiance to the skin.
It accelerates the skin renewal, increases the collagen production, treats the acne and reduces the acne scars and age spots.
This is also one of the best ingredients for oily skin people as it regulates the oily skin.
One of the best retinol serum that I have used has to be deciem one.

Although, within few weeks I can’t judge it on the basis of reducing signs of aging like fine lines but it has reduced my acne scars and help control the acnes. My skin has brightened up and more smoother than before.
Using retinol can be bit tricky as it can give irritation and redness to the skin and even there can be dryness and breakout initially when Incorporated in routine.
Always start with 0.1% retinol. Use it twice a week and gradually increasing it to thrice to five times a week. Further once your skin gets used to it you can go for 0.2% and slowly you can go upto 2% retinol.
I would highly recommend you to do the patch test first for this one specially if you have sensitive skin.
Always use hydrating ingredients like HA or hydrating moisturizer along with the Retinol. It makes your skin more sensitive, it is advisable to use it in your PM skin care routine and don’t forget to wear the sunscreen the next day.
Always watch the ingredients or products that you are using in your routine with retinol as this being a strong ingredient might not work well and may react on your skin. Don’t use retinol with the any other product containing retinol.
If used properly with care, retinol works magic to your skin. I have started using it and there’s no going back for sure.
PS: We recommend you to do patch test first and if you are pregnant or breast feeding, it is advisable to take your gynecologist’s advise before using it.
